| History of Plugsplus Welcome to the Plugsplus Sporting Goods website. Plugsplus was officially started on August 16th 2002. The business grew out of my love for hunting and fishing in Michigan. During my outdoor adventures I found a need for specialty items not featured in the run of the mill sporting goods stores. The big chains are mostly interested in volume sales and some of the most useful items are over looked because they don't meet the sales minimums. I sell a lot of products that you won't find in the national chains. At the present time we are a mail order only business. This enables us to keep our overhead low while passing along the savings to our customers. Plugsplus is a registered business in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We have a state tax license allowing us to buy wholesale and collect tax for the State of Michigan. Over the years I developed a great fondness for antique fishing lures. I collected them for many years and still maintain a sizable collection. You will find several vintage style products on this site. I have sold vintage tackle on Ebay for many years and will continue to offer items from my collection on their site. No tax will be charged on items that are from my personal collection. I hope you enjoy the products I sell and that they improve your love for the great outdoors. As you can see from the pictures below I do like to fish. All of the fish shown were caught in Michigan. Many within the last year. I use the products I sell and they work. |
